TREATMENTS

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment designed to rejuvenate the skin, improve hydration and address a variety of cosmetic concerns through a series of carefully placed micro-injections. The treatment involves delivering a personalised blend of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes and hyaluronic acid directly into the skin, where these active ingredients can nourish and revitalise the tissues more effectively than topical skincare products alone.

One of the key advantages of mesotherapy is that every treatment can be individually tailored to the patient’s skin concerns and treatment goals. Professor Firas Al-Niaimi carefully selects the most appropriate combination of ingredients to help improve skin quality, restore radiance and stimulate the skin’s natural repair processes. This bespoke approach makes mesotherapy suitable for a wide range of concerns, including dull skin, dehydration, fine lines, early skin ageing and loss of elasticity.

Unlike treatments that simply disguise visible signs of ageing, mesotherapy works by improving the health of the skin from within. By delivering active ingredients directly into the deeper layers of the skin, the treatment supports collagen production, improves circulation and enhances cellular regeneration, helping the skin appear healthier, smoother and more youthful over time.

Mesotherapy is commonly used for facial rejuvenation but can also be performed on the neck, décolletage, hands and scalp. Patients seeking further improvement in skin hydration and elasticity may also benefit from Profhilo Treatment, while those looking to improve skin texture and collagen production often combine mesotherapy with Microneedling for enhanced results.

Mesotherapy can also be used as part of a body contouring treatment plan to improve the appearance of cellulite and selected areas of localised fat, depending on the patient’s individual concerns. In addition, specialised mesotherapy formulations may be used to support the treatment of certain pigmentation disorders and some forms of hair loss, making it one of the most versatile treatments available in aesthetic dermatology.

The procedure is quick, minimally invasive and requires little to no downtime. Most patients experience only mild redness or slight swelling immediately after treatment, which usually settles within a short period. A course of treatments is generally recommended to achieve optimal results, followed by maintenance sessions based on the individual’s skin condition and long-term goals.

Before treatment, Professor Firas Al-Niaimi carries out a comprehensive consultation to assess your skin, discuss your concerns and determine whether mesotherapy is the most appropriate treatment. Depending on your needs, mesotherapy may be combined with procedures such as Laser Skin Tightening, Fractional Laser or Non-Surgical Facelift to achieve more comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

Professor Firas Al-Niaimi offers personalised mesotherapy treatments using carefully selected evidence-based formulations designed to improve skin quality, restore a healthy complexion and promote long-term skin rejuvenation. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, ensuring safe, natural-looking and long-lasting results.

FAQS

What does the procedure involve?

Using very fine needles, a bespoke formula of ingredients is injected precisely into the middle layer of the skin within the treatment area, multiple times. If necessary, a numbing medicine will be applied to the skin beforehand in order to minimise any discomfort.

How long does Mesotherapy treatment take?

Depending on the size of the treatment area, it is likely that your session will last between 30 – 60 minutes.

What can I expect from my treatment?

The results of this type of treatment are gradual and continue to improve over the course of several treatment sessions. Your treatment plan will be designed to meet your needs and expectations, with most patients scheduling repeat treatments at regular intervals. As your skin improves and the results begin to show, these sessions will be less and less frequent. Your skin will appear more youthful and firm, with a more contoured structure to the body.

What is the recovery time?

Due to the minimally-invasive nature of this type treatment, downtime is also very minimal, if at all. You should expect some slight swelling and pain around the treatment area for the first day or so post-treatment, which might cause a little discomfort. However, most patients happily resume their daily routine with no problem at all.

Who is suitable for Mesotherapy?

If you suffer with any of the symptoms mentioned above, Mesotherapy may well be a very viable treatment option. The only way to determine the best course of action to meet your needs is to schedule an in-depth consultation at my London-based practice. I assess your concerns and consider your suitability for Mesotherapy before creating your bespoke treatment plan. This is not a suitable substitute for weight loss, and rather offers a solution to stubborn pockets of fat for patients of a healthy weight.
